This distinct and deeply complex coffee is sourced from the Koperasi Baitul Qiradh Baburrayyan (KBQB) in the renowned Aceh and Takengon regions of Sumatra. Made from a traditional mix of Tim Tim, Typica, Ateng, Onan Ganjang, and Jember varietals, it is processed using the classic Giling Basah (wet-hulling) method unique to Indonesia. Grown at altitudes of 1,100–1,600 meters, this processing technique imparts a remarkably heavy, syrupy body and a long, lingering finish. The cup boasts an intricate flavor profile featuring deep dark chocolate, rich dried fruit, and rustic, earthy undertones, all balanced by a clean medium acidity.
